Blooms that Brighten Inc, is a registered 501 ( c ) 3, which provides fresh flowers, free of charge, to patients in hospice and nursing home facilities in Williamsburg, Virginia with the hopes of lifting their spirits and brightening their days.
With 15 years experience in the floral industry, Patti DeBlass, founder has seen daily firsthand the joy that flowers bring to people when they receive them. With the goal in mind, the organization creates a small vase of fresh flowers and delivers each week to local area facilities for patients to place at their bedsides.
Blooms that Brighten always accepts donations of recycled vases, and fresh flowers from events, celebrations, church services and local growers as well as monetary donations.
